The brief.

The Home Hospital is a digital therapeutic provider rethinking how we care for the elderly and people living with chronic conditions. Their business model combines remote monitoring tech with home visits to offer an alternative to hospitalisation. For patients living with COPD or heart failure, this means expert treatment without leaving home.

Virtual hospitals are a new concept, and convincing patients to trust a remote service over a hospital ward requires both empathy and proof of successful treatment. The Home Hospital needed a way to bridge that gap, positioning itself as a safe, credible choice in a crowded healthcare market.

We partnered with them to build a strategy that both explained the at-home service and built authority online.

Focusing on high-income areas like London and the South Coast, our team got to work creating a high-intent messaging strategy that highlights the safety of their hybrid care model and the relief of receiving acute care at home.

By building health condition-specific landing pages and deploying targeted Google and Meta campaigns, we turned education into action.

The result? Over 11,618 Facebook leads, a 422% jump in Google Ads conversions, and a scalable acquisition model with a Facebook cost per lead of just £15.20.

What we set out to do

  • Bridge the knowledge gap for patients and caregivers who haven’t encountered digital therapeutics before, explaining exactly how acute care at home works.
  • Overcome scepticism about remote care by positioning The Home Hospital as a safe alternative to NHS and private hospitals.
  • Engineer a user journey that speaks directly to decision-makers (stressed caregivers and busy consultants) to drive qualified sign-ups.
  • Focus initial efforts on high-income demographics in London to build a solid patient base before rolling out nationwide.

What changed

  • We generated 11,618 high-intent leads on Facebook across key therapeutic areas, proving the demand for private home-based acute care.
  • By segmenting audiences, we hit an average cost per lead of £15.20, making high-ticket patient acquisition incredibly efficient.
  • Google Ads conversions increased by 422%, capturing urgent searches for hospital-at-home services exactly when families needed them most.
  • We bridged the trust gap by converting sceptical audiences into qualified enquiries using educational ads for specific symptoms.

How we
did it.

6 steps, from the first conversation to the results.

  1. Brand positioning and audience mapping

Trust is the single biggest barrier in remote healthcare. To position The Home Hospital as both a safe pair of hands and a pioneer, we implemented a dual-archetype identity driven by specific customer needs.

    • Blended The Caregiver (warm, supportive) with The Creator (visionary) to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and home comfort.
    • Targeted specific decision-makers like John (reducing stress for caregivers) and Dr Sarah (reliable referrals for consultants) to personalise value propositions.
    • Promoted the hybrid care model to reassure patients that remote monitoring is backed by in-home nursing.
  2. High-intent Google Ads

To capture demand at the right moment, our team implemented a hyper-targeted Google Ads campaign focusing on urgent care searches in high-income areas, including London, the South Coast, and Birmingham.

    • Focused ad spend on high-income areas to test ads before expanding.
    • Targeted high-intent terms like “COPD exacerbation,” “acute care at home,” and “hospital at home.”
    • Implemented a capped initial spend of £1,000/month to test and refine the model, ensuring ROI was solid before scaling up.
  3. Condition-specific landing pages

We moved away from generic service pages, creating dedicated landing pages for health conditions like COPD, asthma, and pneumonia, to boost relevance and conversion rates.

    • Each page refers to specific symptoms and treatments, improving user relevance.
    • Included clear pricing, membership details, and distinct Calls to Action (CTAs) to reduce friction.
    • Simplified navigation and messaging to ensure accessibility for elderly users and stressed caregivers.
  4. SEO and educational content

Virtual hospitals are a new concept for most people. We executed a long-tail SEO strategy that educates the market and builds authority.

    • Targeted queries related to specific symptoms and remote healthcare services to capture top-of-funnel traffic.
    • Used content to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness and convenience of The Home Hospital over traditional hospital admission.
  5. Social media and retargeting loops

To ensure no lead was left behind, we implemented a full-funnel social strategy that built awareness and recaptured lost traffic.

    • Ran campaigns highlighting the membership service and peace of mind to caregivers on Facebook.
    • Set up remarketing campaigns for users who visited the website but did not convert, offering personalised content to encourage sign-ups.
    • Utilised Google Analytics to monitor form submissions and landing page conversions, refining the strategy in real-time.
  6. Google Ads success and long-term growth

We successfully converted a high-barrier concept into a scalable revenue engine. By validating the model with a controlled spend in high-income territories, we drove a 422% increase in Google Ads conversions, proving that trust-led creative and condition-specific funnels could drive clinical admissions.

On social channels, our strategy generated 11,618 high-intent leads at a highly sustainable £15.20 cost per lead. The data gathered from this initial testing phase has not only confirmed the commercial viability of the “Hospital at Home” model but also provided the blueprint for expanding operations nationwide.
