Pillar 03. Nurture
You already paid for these leads. Stop losing them.
We build and run your HubSpot so every enquiry is captured, chased and followed through without anybody having to remember. It is also where the loop gets built, because revenue cannot travel back to your campaigns unless something wrote down what happened.

How good leads actually die
Almost nobody loses a lead to a competitor. They lose it to a Friday afternoon.
- An enquiry arrives at ten past four. Someone means to call back. Monday is busy, and by Wednesday it feels too late.
- The same pattern in different clothes: one call attempt instead of five, a quote never chased, a meeting with no reminder.
- Nobody dropped the ball in a way you could point at. All of it is expensive.
And if nothing wrote it down, none of it can be measured.
- An enquiry that lives in an inbox or somebody's memory is invisible: no campaign source, no outcome, nothing to send back.
- The follow up problem costs you sales this month. The recording problem costs you every month after, because it keeps the loop open.
How a paid lead dies
- Friday, 16:10Enquiry arrives. Someone means to call back.
- MondayBusy. Tuesday is worse.
- WednesdayFeels too late to be the first thing they say.
- GoneA lead you paid good money for.
What the system knew
Nobody decided anything. The lead just got older. And nothing was written down, so nothing was learned.
This is the least exciting thing we do, and the most load bearing.
Nobody grows a business because they enjoyed configuring a CRM. But every claim on the rest of this website depends on this pillar working. Cost per customer, revenue by campaign, adverts optimised on money rather than form fills: all of it is downstream of somebody having built a system that records what happened to each enquiry, accurately, every time.
We would rather tell you that plainly than dress it up as transformation.
Every step of the way back depends on something being written down.
For your campaigns to learn from revenue, five things have to be true. The enquiry has to arrive with its source attached. It has to be staged, so the system knows what happened next. It has to become a deal with a value on it. That deal has to be closed honestly rather than left open for a year. And the whole record has to be clean enough to trust.
Miss any one of those and the chain breaks quietly. The reports still generate. They are just wrong, which is worse than having none.
One contact record
Source attached: campaign, advert, page.
The record now knows how far along this person is.
A real opportunity with a value on it.
Won or lost, with the date and the reason.
The value travels back out to the ad platforms.
The work
Built once. Run every day. Kept honest.
Built once
HubSpot implementation and configuration
Set up properly for how your business actually sells, not how the demo assumed you did.
Lifecycle stage and deal pipeline architecture
The stages a person passes through and the pipeline a deal moves along. Get this wrong and every report afterwards is fiction.
Property and data model design
What you record about a contact, a company and a deal. Fewer fields, better named, actually filled in.
Data sync between HubSpot and other systems
Your accounting, your booking system, your job management software. One version of the truth rather than three arguments.
Run every day
Enquiries chased on a schedule that does not depend on anybody's memory or mood.
The right enquiry reaching the right person quickly, with nothing sitting unclaimed.
So the person doing the calling starts at the top rather than the oldest.
Email marketing and newsletters
Regular contact with the people who are interested but not ready yet, which is most of them.
Bringing back the enquiries that went quiet months ago. More on this below.
Kept honest
Data hygiene, de-duplication and enrichment
Duplicates merged, gaps filled, dead records retired. Unglamorous, and the difference between reporting and guessing.
What happened, what it produced, and what we are changing next. Built so you can answer your own questions without asking us.
Every enquiry you have ever received
- Contacted more than twice
- Went quiet, still there, still reachable
Most businesses have more past enquiries than future ones.
The quickest return on this page
Before we spend anything on new leads, we go and talk to the old ones.
Every business we take on has a database of people who once put their hand up and then went quiet. Some were not ready. Some got a better price that month. Some simply never got called back. They cost nothing to reach, because you already paid for them once.
Reactivation is usually the first thing we run, partly because it is fast and partly because it is honest. It shows you what your existing data is worth before you spend another pound at the top of the funnel, and it gives everything downstream something real to work on while the campaigns are still building.
It also tells us something useful. How your dormant leads respond is the best early indication of which offers and which messages are worth putting money behind.
What lands, and what you see.
The system
- HubSpot built around how you actually sell
- Lifecycle stages and pipelines that match reality
- Follow up running automatically, every day
- Enquiries routed, scored and never unclaimed
- Your other systems talking to your CRM
- Data cleaned on an ongoing basis rather than once
The visibility
- Where every enquiry came from and what happened to it
- Conversion rates between each stage, so you can see where the drop is
- Revenue by campaign, once the data supports it
- What we changed this month and what it did
- Dashboards you can read without a translator
It is your HubSpot, your data and your account. If you ever leave, all of it stays with you, working.
We are a HubSpot Solutions Gold Partner, and we run our own company on the same setup we would build for you: the same lifecycle stages, the same automated follow up, the same revenue reporting feeding our own ad accounts. We would not sell you a system we do not trust with our own money.
Nurture is the third step of five.
Attract decides who arrives and Engage decides how many get in touch. Nurture makes sure none of them are forgotten and records what happened to each one. Convert moves them to payment, and Scale sends the revenue back to the campaigns that started it, using the data this pillar creates.
Questions
Things people ask before they book.
I already have HubSpot and we barely use it. Do we start again?
Usually not. Most accounts we inherit are not broken so much as unfinished: someone set them up during a trial, the stages never matched how the business really sells, and everyone quietly went back to their inbox. We audit what is there, keep whatever is sound, and rebuild the parts that are producing misleading data. Starting again throws away history that is often worth keeping, including years of contacts and conversations. What we will change without hesitation is anything that makes reporting untrue, because an inaccurate dashboard is more dangerous than no dashboard at all.
What if our data is a complete mess?
That is the normal starting position and it is not a reason to delay. Duplicates, half filled records, contacts from three different exports and deals that were closed in reality but never in the system. We work through it in stages: merge the duplicates, retire what is genuinely dead, enrich what is salvageable, then put rules in place so it does not degrade again. The important thing is that cleaning is not a one off project we do at the start and never repeat. It runs continuously, because a database with nobody looking after it gets worse every month by itself.
Will my team actually use it?
That is the right question, and it is mostly a design problem rather than a training problem. Systems get abandoned when they ask people for information the business never uses, or when doing the job properly takes longer than doing it badly. So we keep the required fields few and obviously useful, automate everything that does not need a human, and make the fastest way to work also the correct way. We train your team on the setup once it exists rather than in the abstract, and we would rather have four fields everybody fills in than twenty nobody does.
Which HubSpot licence do I need?
Less than most people are sold. The right answer depends on how many people need access, whether you need marketing email, and how much automation your process actually justifies. Plenty of businesses run this well on a lower tier for the first year and upgrade only when something specific requires it. We will tell you the minimum that does the job, including when the answer is a cheaper tier than you expected, and we will tell you honestly when a feature you are paying for is not being used.
