The brief.

Bespoke Auctions is a family auction house in the Cotswolds, helping people sell everything from a single piece of jewellery to the contents of a family home. The team wanted a new identity and website that reflected its specialist knowledge and personal approach, without feeling intimidating to someone selling at auction for the first time.

We already supported the business with lead generation and HubSpot. This next stage brought the brand and customer experience together as British Bespoke Auctions became Bespoke Auctions.

We developed the visual identity, planned the site around the needs of sellers and buyers, and designed and built a mobile-first website. The project also covered SEO copywriting, HubSpot booking and enquiry forms, a coordinated header and footer for the separate bidding platform, and the tools the client needed to manage the brand after launch.

The new website went live at the beginning of October 2026, supported by a brand book, editable stationery, email templates and a social launch video.

The result is a consistent identity across the business, with clearer routes to a valuation and practical tools the team can use themselves.

What we set out to do

  • Create a distinctive identity for Bespoke Auctions that feels established, warm and approachable.
  • Make it easier for first-time sellers to understand the auction process and take the next step.
  • Design a mobile-first website with clear routes to valuations, specialist departments and auction catalogues.
  • Connect the website’s booking and enquiry journeys to the team’s existing HubSpot setup.
  • Give the client the guidelines, templates and editing tools to keep the brand consistent after launch.

What changed

  • A complete identity system with primary and horizontal logos, a logomark, colour palette and typography.
  • A responsive website with three clear enquiry routes: book a valuation, send photographs or request a callback.
  • HubSpot booking and enquiry integrations, plus a coordinated header and footer for the separate auction platform.
  • A brand book, business cards, letterheads, social assets and HTML email signatures.
  • A private stationery studio so the team can create signatures and business cards using their own details.
  • A launch email, reusable HubSpot newsletter template and social video to introduce the rebrand.

How we
did it.

6 steps, from the first conversation to the results.

  1. Research, audience and site structure

We reviewed the existing website, explored other auction houses and worked with Nicholas and Poppy to understand the people they wanted to reach. The site needed to support experienced buyers without assuming that a prospective seller already knew how auctions worked.

We planned the sitemap around those needs. Our copywriter mapped the content to keyword research, then we reviewed the detail with the client so the language accurately reflected their services.

  2. Brand identity development

We explored different visual directions before refining the chosen wordmark, including the weight and readability of ‘Auctions’. The finished logo system works across website headers, stationery and smaller applications such as social profiles.

Patina, deep green, copper, charcoal and warm stone give the brand its autumnal palette. The traditional character of the logo is balanced by Bricolage Grotesque headings and straightforward Inter body text on the website.

  3. Mobile-first design and prototyping

We developed wireframes and homepage concepts in Figma, starting with mobile before adapting the design for desktop. Internal reviews and client feedback helped refine the layout, colour balance and order of the content.

The approved design combines prominent auction photography with clear valuation routes, specialist departments and reassurance for new sellers. A rotating hero gives upcoming auctions their own space, with controls to move between slides or pause them.

  4. Development, integrations and handover

We built the approved designs into a responsive website and connected the booking and enquiry routes to HubSpot. We also worked with Auction Technology Group on the header and footer of the white-label bidding site, keeping the auction platform separate while making the transition recognisable.

The client can update auctions, news and property listings through the website editor. We supplied an editing guide, worked through staging feedback and checked the live domain, forms, redirects and auction links at launch.

  5. Brand guidelines and everyday tools

The brand book documents the foundations, tone of voice, logos, colours, typography and imagery, with links to the assets the team needs. Business cards, letterheads and HTML email signatures carry the identity into everyday conversations with buyers and sellers.

We also built a private stationery studio. The team can enter their details to create signatures and business cards, and open letterhead templates in Word or Google Docs, without requesting a new design each time someone joins or changes their contact details.

  6. Launch communications

We created a visual HTML announcement email, an editable HubSpot newsletter template and a short social video to introduce the new name, identity and website.

The Autumn Auction at Sudeley Castle gave the launch a timely focus. The campaign showed the new brand in use, while leaving the team with a newsletter format they could adapt for future auctions.

Thank you for the incredible work you have done to plan, provide and produce such an amazing website. I am sure that countless hours were spent front & back of house producing this magic. The new branding is superb; you have listened carefully to everything we asked for and delivered more. I look forward to seeing the extra business that a site of this quality will surely attract.
