Ask UsTry It
Type your business name to see it on a shopfront, a van, a window or a pull-up banner. It’s a quick sketch: our studio turns your idea into a proper scaled visual and a proof before anything is made.
Our Workshop
Our roots are in printing, and the presses are still here. Around them sit a design studio, a fabrication shop and the team who fit the finished work, all under one roof on the Harfreys estate.
With the printing, cutting, building and fitting all done by one team, we keep control of the colour, the finish and the date it’s ready.
We print onto glass, acrylic, Foamex, aluminium, Correx, Dibond, wood and a wide range of plastics, by screen or digital print depending on the job.

How It Works
Four steps, one team, and no surprises on the day we fit it.
Call, email or send a photo of the building, van or wall. A rough sketch is plenty, and so is an idea.
We measure up on site and our studio draws how it will look, in your colours and at the right size.
You sign off a PDF proof. Then we print, cut, build and light it in our workshop.
Our own installers fit it, with risk assessments and method statements done before work starts.
One person looks after your job from the first call to the final fixing, however big or small it is.
Who We Work With
Opening a shop, putting a new van on the road or replacing tired signs? You get one contact, a clear quote, a proof to approve and a fitting date that suits you.
Energy and offshore companies, manufacturers and big-name retailers come to us for signs that stay on brand from one site to the next, made and fitted to a plan.

Talk to Us About a ProjectIt depends on the size, the materials, any lighting and how it’s fixed, so we quote each job properly rather than guess. Send a photo and rough sizes and we’ll come back with a price. If you have a budget in mind, tell us and we’ll show you what it buys.
Tell us the date you need it by and we’ll plan the job around it. Your quote confirms the timings for the survey, your proof and the fitting day.
Not always. A sign on your own business premises usually has “deemed consent”, so no application, if it isn’t lit, no letter is taller than 0.75 metres, and it sits below 4.6 metres and below your first-floor windows.
Lit signs are different: most need advertisement consent, and in a conservation area they do. In Great Yarmouth that includes the Seafront, King Street, the Market Place and Gorleston town centre. A sign on a listed building also needs listed building consent. In England an application for a sign about your own business costs £174 and the council has eight weeks to decide.
You also need the building owner’s permission for any sign. The government’s advertisements guidance has the detail, and we’ll talk it through with you at the survey.
Yes. Our studio can draw your artwork from scratch, tidy up an old logo or check the files you already have. Vector files (EPS or PDF) are best, and photos should be at least 300dpi. We always send a PDF proof before anything is made.
Yes. Most of our work is around Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the rest of East Anglia, and we go further afield when a job needs us: we’ve fitted built-up letters on a café in the City of London.
It depends on the film. Makers rate premium cast wrap films for around 8 to 12 years outdoors (3M’s 2080 series at 8 years, ORACAL 970RA at up to 12 in black or white) and cheaper calendered vinyl for less (ORACAL 651 at 4 to 5 years). We’ll tell you which film we’re quoting and what its maker rates it for.
Decals are easy to update when your details or branding change.
Hazard and warning, fire safety, emergency exit, first aid and mandatory signs, as single signs or a complete package for a site, in materials made for indoors, outdoors or offshore. Tell us about the site and what it needs to show, and we’ll make it.
Worth checking on your own premises: the HSE says a fire safety sign with text only, such as a plain “Fire Exit”, is not acceptable. Escape signs need the standard running-figure symbol.
Glass, acrylic, Foamex, aluminium, Correx, Dibond, wood and a wide range of plastics, as well as vinyl, wallpaper and banner material. Screen printing suits long runs; digital printing suits detailed, full-colour and one-off work.

A photo helps: your shopfront, your van, the wall or the window. We’ll come back to you to talk it through and arrange a survey if it needs one.
