Our work

The site kept running.
We worked around it.

A children’s hospital, a trading store, a city sewer and a power station. Each one set the terms, and we worked to them. Every figure here is from Precision’s own project pages.

Cork City Council and Uisce Éireann. The sewer couldn’t be isolated, it ran under the River Lee, and its access points were 1,500 m apart. A tethered inspection vehicle with sonar and HD cameras surveyed it with nobody going in.

Questions

Questions buyers ask first.

Can’t see yours? Call 0800 043 0632 and ask the person who’d run the job.

Do you work in the Republic of Ireland as well as Northern Ireland?

Yes. We have offices in Belfast, Campsie and Dublin, and work across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK. Work includes sewer surveys in Cork and Limerick, asbestos removal at Clery’s in Dublin and Dunnes Stores in Cork, and five years of facilities management for the Institute of Technology Carlow. Precision Processing ships cleaned equipment back to customers across Europe and further afield.

Can you work in a building that has to stay open?

Yes. We cleared asbestos from below a live radiology department at the Royal Victoria Hospital, worked six months of nights so a 3,500 m² Dunnes Stores could keep trading, and worked out of hours beside live laboratories at Queen’s University Belfast. Work like this starts with a site visit and a plan built around your hours.

Are you licensed to remove asbestos?

Yes. Precision Industrial Services Ltd, trading as Precision Group, holds asbestos licence ASBL 03/24 and is listed on the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland’s register of licensed contractors. We’re also a registered waste carrier, so we can survey, remove, encapsulate and dispose of asbestos, with the paperwork to show it.

I think there’s asbestos in my building. What should I do?

Don’t disturb it, keep people away from it and call us on 0800 043 0632. Asbestos can’t be identified by eye, so samples go to a laboratory. Buildings built or refurbished before 2000 can contain it in ceiling tiles, pipe lagging, partitions, cladding and roofs. A survey records where it is, what type it is, its condition and what to do next.

Can one contract cover cleaning, maintenance and specialist work?

Yes. With six teams in one group, a single contract can combine cleaning, grounds, waste, building maintenance, asbestos management and specialist engineering. You get one account team, regular site audits and 24/7 backup support, with each service run by its own specialist lead.

What does it cost, and what happens first?

It depends on the site, so every quote starts with a free site visit or survey. We look at access, the hours you can give us and the regulations that apply, then send you a written quote. Prefer to talk first? Call 0800 043 0632.

Can you clean process equipment from outside Ireland?

Yes. Precision Processing at Maydown cleans filters, heat exchangers, gear pumps and other process parts for customers in the UK, Ireland, Europe and worldwide, and helps with the shipping paperwork so parts don’t sit in customs. Each clean is tested before it ships back.

Tell us about your site.

Ask for a free site visit and quote, or call and talk it through. We cover Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
