01 Inside and Out
Most subcontractors cover one package. We have a windows division and a wardrobes division under one roof, and house builders often ask us to price both on the same contract. Everything in red on this plan is something we supply and fit.
02 Out: Windows and Doors
We work with AluK, Kömmerling, Deceuninck, Eurocell and Profile 22, and none of them exclusively. So when we recommend aluminium or PVCu, it is because it suits the design, the planning conditions and the budget. On many contracts our alternative has saved the client a significant sum.

Made by Portico
We manufacture cavity closers in-house for Eurocell and Cavalok. Because closers fix each aperture, windows can be made from drawings instead of waiting for site surveys, and the closers themselves help meet the thermal and fire demands now placed on new homes.
With tremco illbruck we supply and install EPDM, membranes, compriband and foam tapes alongside the windows, so the same team seals the envelope it glazed.
As full members of the Structural Timber Association, we supply products for timber frame that allow for differential movement.
With our design partner Beaufort Secure Design we help you, your contractors and your architects get the specification right first time.
Our window and door ranges are tested and certified to the standards your schemes are measured against.
03 In: Wardrobes and Interiors
Every wardrobe is made to measure. Once you call off a plot, we survey, manufacture, install and complete the QA records within 15 working days, and one wardrobe team manages it from quotation to installation.
Counted from the next working day, skipping weekends and bank holidays in England and Wales. Our operations team confirms every programme with your site manager.
We pride ourselves on our made to measure service and fully managed supply and installation packages.
Sliding wardrobes in their simplest form: matt, woodgrain, coloured glass or mirror panels in a contrasting or matching frame.
Horizontal or vertical panel combinations, with a choice of framework and feature surround.
A minimal handle runs across each panel, framed in a co-ordinating profile.
Designer mirrored doors, with colours chosen to suit the mirror tint and a recessed handle in the feature panel.

Our managing director joined as a trainee estimator. Our head of quality started as a fitter. Many of the people who price, plan and fit your package learned their trade at Portico, so they know how it will be built.

Yes. Both divisions offer a supply only service if you have your own fitting teams.
We are based in Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, and offer national coverage for supply and installation. Tell us where your scheme is and we will confirm the team that will run it.
We work to a 15-working-day call-off. In that time we survey, manufacture and install the wardrobes and record QA documentation on completion. Try the call-off calculator.
On wardrobes, five years on all doors and door rolling hardware, and two years on interiors, interior fixings, hardware and lighting. On windows and doors, each manufacturer’s guarantee is slightly different, so we confirm it for the products on your scheme.
Our window and door ranges are certified to standards including PAS 24, PAS 23 and Secured by Design. Wardrobe glass and mirror is safety-backed to EN 1036-2 and EN 12150-2, and wood panels follow FSC guidelines.
