FAQs
Questions? Answered.
Can't find what you need? Our team is on hand seven days a week.
How do I get a CSCS Green Card?
You need two things: the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment (or the CITB Health & Safety Awareness course), and a pass in the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test. Once you have both, you apply to CSCS for your Labourer card. Our one-day course covers the first part, and your trainer will talk you through the rest.
Is the online course the same qualification as the classroom one?
Yes. Our online courses are taught live by a trainer on Zoom and lead to the same nationally recognised certificates as classroom courses. You'll take part, ask questions and sit your assessment just as you would in the room.
What happens if I don't pass?
Most learners pass first time, and our pass rate is 96%. If you don't pass the CSCS Green Card course, your resit is free. For other courses, we'll talk you through your options and help you get ready for your next attempt.
When do I get my results and certificate?
On our CSCS Green Card, Fire Marshal and Traffic Marshal courses, you get your result the same day. For CITB and IOSH courses, your certificate is issued once your exam has been marked by the awarding body.
What do I need for an online course?
A laptop, tablet or computer with a working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, a quiet space, and photo ID for identity checks.
Do you run courses at weekends?
Yes. We run courses seven days a week, including weekend SSSTS and SMSTS dates, so you don't have to lose a day's pay to get qualified.
How long do the certificates last?
SSSTS and SMSTS certificates last five years, and you can renew them with a refresher course before they expire. First Aid, Fire Marshal and Traffic Marshal certificates last three years. The Level 1 Award for your CSCS card doesn't expire.
Can you train my team at our premises?
Yes. For groups of six or more, we can deliver training at your site anywhere in the UK, on dates that suit you. Request a group quote or call 020 3488 2333.
Your next step up starts this week.
Next CSCS Green Card course: every Wednesday & Saturday. Book online in minutes or talk to our team.
