Our home on Angel Hill

A 17th-century home for 21st-century dentistry.

Step through the Greek Doric doorway at 15 Angel Hill and you’re in a Grade II listed building with a timber-framed core dating back to the early 1600s. The exposed brick and oak beams are original. The technology very much isn’t.

Prices effective 1 April 2026. A deposit is taken when booking; cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable. Implant consultations are complimentary (a £30 holding fee applies).

Are you taking on new patients?

Yes — we’d love to meet you. Book online any time or call us on 01284 705 637. Your first visit is our 8-step new patient assessment (£120): a thorough check of your teeth, gums and overall oral health, with time to talk through any worries or goals. Any X-rays you need are £20.

Are you an NHS practice?

No, we’re a fully private practice. That means unhurried appointments, the latest technology and a team with time to get to know you. To help with costs, we welcome Denplan Essentials patients and offer flexible finance on larger treatments.

I’m in pain. Can you see me quickly?

Please call us on 01284 705 637 as early in the day as you can. We’ll do everything we can to see you quickly and get you comfortable. Emergency appointments start from £95.

I’m really nervous about the dentist. Can you help?

Absolutely — you’ll be in very good company. Let us know when you book and we’ll take things at your pace, explain everything first and never judge. Dr Sophie Pathmanathan has a special interest in supporting nervous patients, and IV sedation is available with Dr Vishal Patel if you need extra help to relax.

How much does Invisalign® cost?

Invisalign starts from £2,250 for minor corrections. Lite treatments range from £2,825 to £3,495, and comprehensive treatment starts from £4,125. Your consultation and iTero 3D scan are free, so you’ll know exactly what’s possible — and what it costs — before you decide. Flexible finance is available.

Do you see children?

Yes, and we love it. Check-ups for children aged 3–11 are £30 (£45 for their first visit), with fluoride application included. Our hygienists can help little ones build great habits early, too.

When are you open?

Monday to Thursday 9am–8pm, Friday 9am–3pm and Saturday 9am–4pm. Evening and Saturday appointments are popular, so it’s worth booking ahead.

Where can I park?

There’s pay-and-display parking on Angel Hill, right in front of the practice, and Ram Meadow car park is a short walk away.

Do you take a deposit when I book?

Yes, we take a deposit when you book. If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice — deposits for later cancellations are non-refundable.

It’s been over two years since my last visit. Am I still registered?

If you haven’t visited in the past two years your registration will have lapsed, but re-registering is easy: simply book a new patient assessment and we’ll take it from there.
