  • Cold store booking-in service
  • Out-of-hours support for collections and deliveries, 24/7

Meat is our specialist subject.

Why it matters

In the cold chain, nearly isn’t good enough.

Perishable cargo doesn’t forgive small mistakes. These are the ones we’re paid to prevent.

  • 1 missing certificate

can hold a container at the port while the clock, and the charges, keep running.

  • 1 wrong set point

can turn a full load of frozen product into a write-off.

  • 1 missed booking-in slot

can leave a reefer waiting on the quay, running up charges.

The names on the door

Adam + Mark = AdMark.

AdMark is named after Adam Parkins and Mark Pilsworth. Since 2012 it has run on one simple idea: invest in people, not polish.

That means great customer service, a real person to talk to, relationships that last and cargo that ships. Our old website put it plainly: no bling, no fancy taglines… just shipping solutions. We’ve added a tagline since. Everything else still stands.

Our dealings with AdMark have been a partnership from the start. Their efficiency has been extremely helpful in improving our business.

FAQs

Straight answers.

Can’t see your question? Call 01394 336 848 and ask a person.

What can you ship in a reefer?

Anything that needs to travel at a set temperature, frozen or ambient. Refrigerated food is our speciality, meat especially. Tell us the product and the set point it needs, and we’ll handle the rest.

Do you only ship food?

No. Refrigerated cargo is our speciality, but we also offer full import and export coverage for dry cargo, plus European road freight for dry and refrigerated loads.

Can you handle customs clearance?

Yes. We have our own dedicated import and export customs bureau with more than 50 years’ experience, and full documentation and certification services alongside it.

What if something changes out of hours?

Cargo doesn’t stop at 5pm, so neither do we. We provide 24/7 out-of-hours support for collections and deliveries.

Which countries do you ship to?

Worldwide. We’re specialists in the Africa, Latin America, USA and Far East trades, we move freight across Europe by road, and we handle cross-trade shipments between overseas countries. A bespoke global agency network looks after your cargo at the other end.

Can you arrange cold store booking-in?

Yes. Our cold store booking-in service arranges delivery slots, so your cargo isn’t left waiting.

Has anything changed since you joined Thermotraffic?

Not the people you deal with. Since 2024 we’ve been part of Thermotraffic Ltd and Nichirei Logistics Group, which means an expanded range of services and more resources behind every shipment. The standards you expect from us are the same.

What terms do you trade under?

We’re members of BIFA, the British International Freight Association, and all business is transacted under the current BIFA Standard Trading Conditions. We’re happy to send you a copy.

How do I get a quote?
