Use one service or combine them. Because we are independent, the plan follows your cargo rather than one carrier’s network.
Sea
Over 80% of world trade moves by sea. We ship full containers and consolidate part loads in and out of Felixstowe, the UK’s largest container port, where all the major container lines are represented.
Air
For urgent and high-value cargo. We subscribe directly to CCS-UK, so we have live data and direct communication with airports, airlines, terminals and entry processing units.
Customs
An approved HMRC customs agent since the 1990s, with direct access to the Customs Declaration Service. We clear imports and exports at any UK port or airport, whoever moved the goods.
Road
Containers, trailers, pallets and parcels. We contract vehicles from Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway, Bristol, Manchester and Heathrow, working every day with specialist operators.
Warehousing
Temporary or longer-term storage, import devanning and export loading with a full range of lifting equipment. Our export packing protects the goods without adding weight you pay to fly.
Rail
Rail cuts congestion and carbon, but it does not suit every cargo or route. We weigh up space, timings, terminals and onward haulage, then tell you straight whether it makes sense.

Customs
A shipment only moves as fast as its customs entry. Zygo has been an approved HMRC customs agent since the 1990s, so your declarations are prepared by people who do this every day.
We lodge import and export declarations directly on HMRC’s Customs Declaration Service, with approvals for a range of import and export options.

Yes. We can clear import and export consignments at any UK port or airport, whoever is moving them. Send us the commercial invoice, packing list and the bill of lading or air waybill number and we will tell you what else is needed.
Yes. Part loads travel as LCL in a shared container, pallets and parcels go by road or air, and you only pay for the space you use. Use the route planner above to see where we would start.
We are based in Felixstowe and are members of the port community networks at Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway, Bristol, Heathrow and Gatwick. We also contract haulage from Manchester, and we can clear consignments anywhere in the UK.
With a phone call. You will need an EORI number, a commodity code for each product and agreed terms of sale (Incoterms). We will walk you through each one, explain the likely duty and VAT, and suggest payment terms that protect you and your buyer or supplier.
What the goods are, how much there is (weight and size, or the number of pallets or containers), where they are collected from and delivered to, when they will be ready, and the Incoterms if you know them. Tell us about anything hazardous, temperature controlled or oversized.
Tell us at the quote stage. Dangerous goods, including lithium batteries, have to be declared, packed and labelled to the carrier’s rules, and some routes and carriers will not take them. We will tell you what is possible before anything is booked.
Carriers’ liability is limited by international conventions, and so is ours under the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions. We recommend cargo insurance for anything you could not afford to lose, and we can advise on the right cover.
