Not Sure Where to Start?

That’s exactly what the free spinal screening is for. Spend 10 minutes with a chiropractor or osteomyologist, talk through what’s going on and get an honest view on whether we can help. If we can’t, we’ll point you to someone who can.

You’d See
A chiropractor or osteomyologist
What It Involves
A chat and a quick, fully clothed check of your spine. No full examination and no treatment.
What It Costs
Nothing, with no obligation. Often available the same day.

Everyone is different, so we only recommend care after a full assessment, and we’ll refer you elsewhere if that’s the right call.

Our Promise

If We Can’t Help You, We’ll Say So.

Nobody should be talked into a care plan they don’t need. If your assessment shows a problem that’s better looked after elsewhere, we’ll tell you straight away and point you to your GP or the right specialist. That’s how we’ve worked since 2007.

“I love seeing people in pain get better and reach their health goals.”Sara, Doctor of Chiropractic and Co-Founder

  1. We Listen First

Your first visit starts with your story: what hurts, when it started and what it’s stopping you doing.

  2. We Examine Properly

Orthopaedic and neurological tests from top to toe, with digital X-ray on site only if it’s genuinely needed.

  3. We Explain Everything

A full report of findings before any treatment begins, so you know what we found, what we suggest and why.

FAQs

Questions People Ask Before Their First Visit

Does Treatment Hurt?

Adjustments by a qualified practitioner aren’t usually painful. If your muscles are in spasm you may feel some discomfort, and it’s normal to feel a little sore for 24 to 48 hours afterwards, a bit like after exercise you’re not used to. Your practitioner will always tell you what to expect.

What’s the Popping Noise?

When the surfaces of a joint move apart quickly, the pressure inside changes and a small bubble of gas can release with a pop. It isn’t painful and doesn’t always happen. If you’d rather avoid it, ask about osteomyology with the low-force Activator instrument.

Do I Need a GP Referral?

No, you can book directly with us. Some GPs can arrange treatment on the NHS, and some insurers want a GP or consultant referral before they’ll pay, so check your policy first.

Can I Use My Health Insurance?

Yes. We work with insurers including Simplyhealth (HSA), Standard Life and Aviva. You pay us directly, then claim back using our receipts. Tell us when you book, as not every practitioner is registered with every insurer.

How Long Does the First Visit Take?

Around 45 minutes with your practitioner, plus a few minutes with our front of house team, so allow about an hour. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Follow-up treatments are usually around 10 minutes.

Do You See Children and Older People?

Yes. We see people of every age, from newborn babies to our oldest client, who is nearly 100. Every plan is tailored to the person in front of us.

Do I Have to Sign Up to a Long Plan?

No. After your report of findings you’ll get a clear recommendation, and the choice is always yours. Our Ultimate Wellbeing Community membership has no contract or tie-in either.

What Are Your Fees?

Every plan is tailored, so we’ll talk you through costs before any treatment starts. Call 01502 517070 for our current new client price and promotions, or save £10 by booking your first visit online.
