How much does a dental appointment cost?
New patients currently pay £95 (usually £190) for a comprehensive examination, which includes two small X-rays, a 3D scan, oral cancer and jaw joint screening, and a personalised treatment plan. Routine examinations are £75 and hygiene appointments start from £110. You’ll find every price in our full fee guide.
Are you a private or NHS dentist?
We’re a private practice. That means longer, unhurried appointments, shorter waits and access to treatments such as Invisalign, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry – with transparent, published prices and 0% finance to help spread the cost.
I’m nervous about the dentist. Can you help?
Absolutely – you’re far from alone. We’re a Dental Phobia Certified practice: we’ll always go at your pace and explain everything before we begin. For more involved treatment, IV sedation is available with Dr Najla Nizarali, our consultant in sedation and special care dentistry. Read more about how we help nervous patients.
Can I get an emergency appointment?
Yes. If you’re in pain, call either practice as early as you can and we’ll offer a same-day appointment wherever possible. An emergency appointment costs £85, and membership patients receive free emergency appointments during surgery hours.
Can I spread the cost of my treatment?
Yes. Treatments from £600 to £25,000 can be spread over 6 or 12 months at 0% APR with no deposit, through our finance partner Chrysalis Finance. Longer terms are available at 14.9% APR. Credit is subject to status. Our membership plans also spread your routine care from £15.42 a month, with 15% off most treatments.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes – virtual consultations are free, and so is a 10-minute dental implant consultation. They’re a relaxed way to talk through your goals, ask questions and understand your options before you commit to anything.
Do you see children?
We do, and we love it. Children’s examinations are £35 for under-3s and £45 for ages 3 to 15, and we offer children’s orthodontics too.
Which practice should I choose?
Whichever suits you best. Both St John’s Wood and Finchley are open six days a week from 8am, with appointments until 8pm on Mondays. If you’d like to see a particular clinician, our team will let you know where and when they practise.
