What we do
One family, three crafts.
Most builders do one thing. Rose has spent around 130 years doing three: bespoke building, main contracting and developing our own homes, so every project benefits from the other two.
Our own plant division and directly employed teams give us control over quality at every stage.

A family name built into the landscape.
Harry Rose was a bricklayer who came to Mistley in the 1890s, when the village had become a major centre of the malt industry. Five generations on, many of the ribbon developments the family built in the 1920s and 30s still line the streets of Mistley, Manningtree and Lawford.
