Our vinyl has been developed over many years to avoid folds and stitching and to keep creasing to a minimum, so it stays smooth, comfortable and quick to wipe clean.

Every Medi-Plinth couch carries a parts and labour warranty against manufacturing and material defects: seven years on the frame and three years on all other moving parts.
To keep a couch safe for the long term, we recommend a manufacturer safety inspection and service, which our trained technicians can carry out on site.
Can NHS Organisations Buy Through a Framework?
Yes. We are on the NHS Supply Chain frameworks for Medical Healthcare Furniture and Equipment, Pressure Area Care and Patient Handling, and Aids for Daily Living, and on the Shared Business Services Design, Furniture and Appliances framework.

Do You Deliver and Install?
Yes. Where possible, one of our trained technicians delivers your couch, sets it up, checks that it is clean, complete and undamaged, demonstrates it on request and takes the reusable packaging away. We deliver to most areas of mainland UK each week.
If you need a couch sooner, want it delivered into storage, or are on the UK islands or overseas, carrier delivery is the best option. Couches arrive fully assembled with operating instructions.
Which Upholstery Colours Can I Choose?
There are 14 standard colours: Pillar Box Red, Raspberry Crush, Candy, Damson, Mid Blue, Dark Blue, Sky Blue, Citrus Green, Apple Mint, Ash Grey, Gun Metal Grey, Black, White and Beige. Other colours and styles are available for an additional charge.
Please include your vinyl choice with your order. You can try every standard colour on the couch above before you decide.
How Should I Clean the Upholstery?
Wipe light soiling away with a damp, soapy cloth, then rinse and dry. NHS cleaning solutions such as Chlor-Clean, Haz-Tab, Milton and Tristel are suitable, and Clinell and other alcohol-based wipes are safe to use.
Avoid bleaches, solvents, abrasive cleaners and polishes, which harden PVC over time, and keep body oils off the vinyl.
How Do I Order Spare Parts?
Send us the parts you need with your couch serial number and we will take it from there. We hold gas struts, handsets, motors, feet, bungs and frame end plugs in stock for a prompt response, and our engineers can fit them for you.
Is the Service Training Course Really Free?
Yes. The one-day course at our Ipswich HQ is free, runs Monday to Friday for groups of up to six, and includes hands-on practical work, a guided tour of our premises, lunch and refreshments, and certification to service and repair Medi-Plinth products.
Do You Supply Customers Outside the UK?
Yes. We supply healthcare markets overseas directly and through our distributor partners. We are happy to arrange a competitive quote for export delivery and to meet any special packaging requirements in your country.
