Our name, defined

It’s in our name.

Two meanings, and we work to both of them.

fih-DEL-ih-tee noun

  1. Faithfulness to a person, a cause or a promise.

We look after a business for years, not for one switch. The brewery behind Hawkstone has been with us since 2017, and 95.5% of the contracts we arrange go live.

  2. The exactness with which something is reproduced.

Every supplier quote, every half-hourly reading and every bill line, checked to the penny and shown to you in full. Including what we earn.

Buying energy

Seventeen suppliers. One clear choice.

We run a proper tender for your electricity, gas and water, then help you pick the contract that fits: the cheapest, the greenest or the most certain.

  1. Send us a bill

A recent bill and a signed letter of authority is all we need. We pull your meters, your usage and your contract end dates, and check you’re being charged correctly today.

  2. We tender across 17 suppliers

Ambolt, the quoting platform we built ourselves, prices your supply with every supplier on our panel in minutes. For the same business, quotes can differ by 28% from the cheapest to the dearest.

  3. You choose

Lowest price, 100% renewable or the longest fix. You see every option side by side, with our commission shown on each one, and sign electronically.

  4. We stay with you

We watch the market, line up your renewal early and make sure you never roll on to out-of-contract rates. 95.5% of the contracts we arrange go live.

Market timing

When you buy matters as much as who you buy from.

UK businesses paid an average of 24.51p per kWh for electricity in spring 2026, almost twice the 12.90p they paid in early 2019. Prices still move every day.

So we watch the wholesale market for you and buy forward at the dips. Larger users can spread their buying across the year with Fidelity Flex.

Tell us when your contract ends

We’ll start watching the market for your renewal straight away.

Managing energy

Every bill, checked line by line.

Industry estimates suggest up to one in five business energy bills can contain errors. Etainabl, our energy management platform, reads every invoice and every meter reading across your sites, and flags anything that doesn’t match your contract.

£1m+refunded to Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, after Etainabl found a meter that wasn’t consuming being billed on estimates.

More about Etainabl
Etainabl bill validation screen: an electricity invoice read automatically, with checks for account match, read continuity, consumption against half-hourly data and VAT and Climate Change Levy passed, and the contract rate check flagging 26.40p billed against 24.61p in the contract
Etainabl’s bill validation flags a unit rate billed above the contract price.

Optimising energy

Then we help you use less.

The cheapest kWh is the one you never buy. Once your contracts are right, we look at the equipment and the roof.

Questions

Straight answers.

Something else on your mind? Call 08000 48 48 00 and talk it through with our team.

How do you get paid?

Like most energy consultants, we’re paid a commission by the supplier you choose. It’s added to your unit rate in pence per kWh, and sometimes to your standing charge.

The amount is shown on your quote and written into your contract before you sign. We’ve disclosed our commission on every SME contract since 2021, before the rules required it.

Do you compare the whole market?

We tender your supply with the 17 suppliers on our panel, which includes the major business energy suppliers, and we’ll always tell you which suppliers quoted. We never claim to have searched suppliers we didn’t ask.

What do you need from me to get started?

A recent bill and a signed letter of authority, which lets us talk to your current supplier about your meters and usage. Your free energy health check starts from there.

Will switching supplier interrupt my supply?

No. The same wires and pipes keep supplying your premises. Only the company that bills you changes, and we handle the switch for you.

When should I start looking at my renewal?

Ideally six to twelve months before your contract ends. It gives us time to buy at a good moment in the market rather than in a hurry, and stops you rolling on to out-of-contract rates.

Do you work with schools and the public sector?

Yes. We buy for NHS trusts, multi-academy trusts and other public bodies through our own Dynamic Market, which is run under the Procurement Act 2023.

Can I speak to a person?

Always. Call 08000 48 48 00 and you’ll reach our team in Newbury.
