Favorite began in 1986 as a partnership between two hardworking family men, set on building a business that would support their own families and those of their franchisees. In 2006 one of the founding families took full ownership, and we’re still family-owned today.

Every Favorite is run by a local franchise partner, cooking our Traditional Chicken fresh in store, in around 80 towns from Swansea to Great Yarmouth.

    Favorite begins

    Favorite Fries Spice arrives. Later it finds its way onto Potato Poppas.

    How do I order Favorite online?

    Most Favorite stores take orders direct, for collection or delivery, through our website and the Favorite app. Find your store above and look out for Chuckie to order direct.

    Many stores also deliver through Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo, so you can order there too.

    Is Favorite Chicken halal?

    Our chicken comes from a halal supplier, but because some of our stores sell pork ribs, we don’t describe Favorite as a halal brand.

    Favorite Chicken stores don’t sell ribs. Favorite Chicken & Ribs stores do. If you have a religious dietary requirement, such as halal or kosher, please check with your local store before you order.

    What meat are your BBQ ribs?

    Our BBQ ribs are pork loin ribs, coated and cooked in our sticky, sweet, smoky BBQ sauce. They’re only sold at Favorite Chicken & Ribs stores.

    Where can I find allergen information?

    Every item on our menu lists its allergens online and in the Favorite app, and you can download our full allergen table, updated in February 2026.

    Our food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen, so we can’t guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens.

    Why does my chicken look pink?

    Our Spicy Crunchy Wings, Spicy BBQ Wings and Fillet of Fire Burgers are marinated before cooking, which can make the meat look pink even when it’s fully cooked. Our stores make regular temperature checks and use controlled cooking systems.

    I have a problem with my order. Who do I contact?

    If you ordered through Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo, please raise it with them in their app. If you ordered direct, on our website, in the app or in store, please call the store first.

    How much does a Favorite franchise cost?

    Capital investment is typically between £160,000 and £250,000, depending on the size of the store and its seating. Banks usually expect you to have at least 30% of that available as cash.

    After that, you pay a fixed monthly fee that rises in small steps each year, rather than a percentage of your turnover. Send an enquiry and our franchise team will talk you through the detail.

    How can I get a job at Favorite?

    Every Favorite is run by a local franchise partner, so the best thing to do is to ask at your local store or give them a call.
