The crew chief rule

Four crew or more? A crew chief comes with them.

Your crew chief has years in the industry and the experience to run a team. They take direction from you, then organise the crew to get the job done quickly and safely.

  • Takes your brief when the crew arrive
  • Organises and directs the whole team
  • One person to talk to, not eight

FAQs

Before you book.

Still unsure? Call 020 8892 1409. Someone always answers.

How short notice can you book crew?

Plenty of our calls come in at short notice. Ring the office, day or night, and we’ll tell you straight away what we can cover. For anything in the next 24 hours, phone rather than use the form.

Is there a minimum call length?

Tell us the hours you need and we’ll confirm the minimum call for your job when we quote. Most event calls are booked in blocks of four hours or more.

Do you supply forklifts, cherry pickers or towers?

No. We supply qualified forklift and telehandler drivers, and IPAF and PASMA operators. The machines, towers and scaffolding come from you or your hire company.

When do I get a crew chief?

On any team of four crew or more. Your crew chief takes direction from you, then organises and directs the crew so the job gets done quickly and safely.

Where do you supply crew?

Across London from our office in Twickenham, and the Midlands, Manchester and Leeds from our Birmingham office. For events anywhere else in the UK, call and ask.

How is a job priced?

Every call is quoted on the number of crew, the hours, the skills needed and the location. Send the call and the office will come back to you with a price.
